This is a decadent chocolate pie which is so smooth and fudgy inspired by the character Minny in the movie The Help. In the movie, the lovely character Minny played by the amazing actress Octavia Spencer makes an amazing chocolate pie. The pie is very important in the movie and helps to send a very important message across (no spoilers here, watch the movie!)

This pie can be made in any pie crust you like even ready made ones, like Pillsbury. I used a shortbread crust and i loved the combination. Top this pie with whipped cream & chocolate shavings and be ready for your mind to be blown. The pie filling is gluten free so you can use a gluten free crust & the dessert is gluten free!

Happy Baking!
