I am a girl finding her way in life through Food & Travel. I am a huge Disney fan thus, the name of my blog. I love music & am a bathroom singer, working on my stage fright. I believe in Soul Love & Magic!
I am from Kolkata, India settled in Jersey City, Usa. My ancestors are originally from Rajasthan, India but I was born & brought up in West Bengal. Marwari food & Bengali food have an influence on my Indian cooking. I shifted to Jersey City after my marriage. My husband is a Gujarati so I am learning a lot of Gujarati food since our marriage.
By starting this blog I can’t wait to share my food experiences with you. I will share Indian as well as other global cuisines. All my recipes will be Vegetarian, some Vegan. I will post at least 1 new recipe and video every week. My recipes are tried and tested to make Food a delicious experience for you! Most of my recipes are very easy, some of them need some basic equipments like a stand mixer, blender, etc.
Food, especially pastry has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I began baking with my Mother since I was 5 years old. I am a trained pastry chef from the Institute of Culinary Education, NYC. I love experimenting with food and am a self taught chef. I ran a successful home bakery- Cake by Pooja in Kolkata for 4 years. In pastry school I won the Top Toque award & placed 2nd in the US Junior Pastry Chef Comp 2016 & was the 1st Indian who placed.
