Strawberry Chocolate Tart
Strawberry Chocolate Tart is a delicious eggless dessert which is perfect for Valentine’s Day! A graham cracker crust, filled with a creamy chocolate filling, topped with a strawberry jam and finished with sliced strawberries. Super delicious and easy to make this treat is something you need to try! The strawberry and chocolate combination is always a good idea! So step aside chocolate covered strawberries for this delicious tart! The graham cracker crust adds the crumbly texture which makes this perfect! Ingredients:
6 oz semi sweet chocolate
2 tbsp unsalted butter
8 oz softened cream cheese
3-4 tbsp strawberry jam; divided
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup warmed heavy cream
1 tbsp Cocoa powder
1 8 inch graham cracker Pie crust; for homemade pie crust check notes.
1 lb fresh Strawberries
Directions:
In a bowl, add chocolate and butter and melt together. Check notes for options.
Add softened cream cheese and 1 tbsp strawberry jam and whisk together. It may look curdled but don’t worry about it.
Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder and warmed heavy cream and whisk together. This will bring the mixture together and make it creamy.
Pour the filling in the pie crust and smoothen the top.
Chill the pie in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours till the filling is set.
Slice strawberries into thin slices to decorate.
Melt the remaining jam. Leave about 2 tsp and pour it over the set chocolate.
Decorate strawberries over it as you want.
Brush the remaining jam over the sliced berries.
Chill for 2 hours. Take it out 30 mins before serving.
Slice and serve!
Notes/Tips:
Melting butter and chocolate- Melt butter and chocolate in a microwave. Put it in for 1 minute, stir it and then 30 seconds stirring in between till melted well. OR place in a bowl over a pan of boiling water and melt it.

Warming the cream is important, otherwise the filling won’t smoothen. You don’t need to boil the cream, but it needs to be hot.
Slicing the strawberries thin is important, it takes better!
Brushing the strawberries with jam, helps give it a shine and also adds flavor.
It lasts well in the fridge for 2-3 days.
