Happy Baking!

Servings: 2 sandwiches

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cooking Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

  • 4 sourdough bread slices

  • 3-5 oz raspberry chocolate- I used Ghiradelli squares

  • 1/3-1/2 cup mini marshmallows

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • A pinch of sea salt, optional

Directions:

  1. On two of the sourdough slices distribute the chocolate so that it covers the slices completely.

  2. Top with mini marshmallows over the chocolate.

  3. Sandwich with the plain slices.

  4. Warm a griddle and spread some butter on it. Cook the sandwich by placing one side down on the melted butter.

  5. Keeping the flame on medium-low cook till its golden brown. Flip it over and cook. Spread some more butter if needed. Cover the the sandwich with a pan lid so that the heat melts the chocolate and marshmallows.

  6. Remove the cover and cook the sandwich on both the sides again for 1-2 mins so its toasty.

  7. Slice and serve immediately!

Notes/Tips:

  • You can use any white/wheat bread instead of sourdough but sourdough works the best.

  • If you want you can add raspberries in it.

  • If you use larger marshmallows, cut it smaller so its easy to sandwich.

  • If you can’t find raspberry chocolate use any tart chocolate like orange or peach etc.

  • The best griddle to cook till on is a cast iron to get taht smoky flavour like a smore.
