Servings: 4-6 servings
Prep Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 30 mins
Ingredients:
8-12 mini bagels
1 .5 cups bhaji (no pav needed)
1/4 cup shredded cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F.
Slice the top of the bagels. Scoop them out. I used a spoon to scoop it out. Press down to smoothen it out.
Fill the bagel cavity with slightly cooled bhaji.
Sprinkle cheese over it.
Bake at 350F for 7-10 mins.
Serve warm with chopped onions and lemon wedges.
Notes/Tips:
You can use larger bagels if you like. Smaller mini bagels make it easy to hold and eat.
Use any bhaji recipe you like or even store-bought. I used this recipe.
If you fill the bagels with warm bhaji cavity it can make the bagel soggy.
If you like it very toasty, toast the scooped bagels and then fill and bake again.
