Chatpata cheesy Desi Sliders

Chatpata cheesy Desi Sliders are delicious easy oven-baked sliders that are full of flavor, giving a fun twist to Indian-style burgers. The sliders are layered with sauces- a creamy spicy one and coriander chutney, along with shredded slaw and fresh veggies for crunch, masala nuggets for body, and melted cheese making it a perfect bite. To take these sliders to the next level they are baked in the oven with a butter mixture poured over it which has seasonings and spices which soak into the buns and add this amazing flavor to the sliders. It’s an explosion of flavors and textures from the first to the last bite. I love making these sliders when I have guests over because it’s easy to make and cook in the oven and they’re so yummy that they are always wiped clean. You can use store-bought or homemade nuggets or burger patties for this recipe. It comes together in an hour and you won’t be able to stop with just one slider, I assure you that!

  7. Remove the foil, cut, and serve.

  8. You can serve these with any condiments you like, but it’s not needed as these are saucy themselves.

Notes/Tips:

  • Use savory slider buns. Sweet buns can make this recipe too sweet.

  • I prefer using store bought masala nuggets and airfrying it for this recipe. I used Deep Indian kitchens masala nuggets.

  • Ideally use two different kind of cheeses. I like the combination of cheddar and pepperjack but you can use any you like.

  • I like to layer the veggies between the two slices to add crunch in between them.

  • Do NOT forget to poke the holes on the slider buns.

  • Covering with foil is a must.
