One pot creamy mixed sauce Baked Rigatoni is an indulgent recipe that will change your day! It is creamy, cheesy, spicy and full of so much flavor, trust me you need to try!! A mix of tomato sauce and pesto and its cheesy & creamy makes a perfect balance. The roasted garlic and cream cheese takes it over the edge. This is literally a one pot recipe and its ready in an hour. We wiped this bowl clean in one sitting, i’m not kidding. Honestly I can’t sell this recipe enough, you NEED to try it to believe it. I used rigatoni but you can use any pasta you like.

Ingredients: 

  • 10 oz pasta

  • 2 oz cream cheese

  • 3-4 cloves garlic

  • 1 1/4 cup marinara/pizza sauce 

  • 1/3 cup tomato paste 

  • 2-3 tbsp basil pesto

  • 1 1/3-1/2 cup water

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

  • 1-1.5 tsp Chili flakes

  • 1 tsp Dried parsley 

  • 2-3 tbsp butter 

  • 1 /2-1 cup Mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. In an oven safe dish place the cream cheese in the centre.

  3. Place the dry pasta around the cream cheese.

  4. Top with Marinara/pizza sauce, tomato paste, pesto, water, milk and cream. Mix it together with the pasta not mixing in the cream cheese.

  5. Sprinkle salt, pepper, chili flakes, parsley and mix, not mixing the cream cheese.

  6. Top the cream cheese with chopped garlic.

  7. Slice the butter into thin slices and top over the pasta.

  8. Cover with foil and bake at 400F for 20 mins covered.

  9. Remove the cover, and mix the pasta, not the cream cheese. Put it back to bake at 400F for 25 mins.

  10. When out of the oven mix in the cream cheese and garlic with the pasta. Cover with shredded mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle some chili flakes over it if you want.

  11. Bake at 400F for 10-15 mins till the cheese melts.

  12. Sprinkle some chopped parsley/chives and serve immediately. Enjoy the cheesy spicy saucy goodness.

Notes/Tips:

  • Do not mix the cream cheese in the beginning until it roasted with the garlic till step 10.

  • Make sure the pasta is covered with liquid before baking.

  • I used roasted garlic pasta sauce.

  • You can add some breadcrumbs on top and bake for some crunch.
