Diwali is the festival of lights and every year over a billion people globally celebrate Diwali. Diwali can mean different things to everyone like the celebration of a new year and a new beginning. For some, it’s a triumph of light over darkness or knowledge over ignorance. For some, it’s just a celebration of being home and being with family. Diwali, for the most part, is decorating your home, enjoying good food, and being with loved ones. For me, Diwali is the time I miss home the most so I make it up for by spending time with friends, decorating my house, and cooking a feast.
