Bourbon Biscuit brownie- The easiest way to jazz up brownies with nostalgic biscuits

Looking to take your brownies to the next level? This Bourbon Biscuit Brownie recipe is the easiest way to jazz up classic brownies with a nostalgic twist! By adding crushed bourbon biscuits right into the batter, you get that signature chocolatey, creamy flavor mixed into every bite. Plus, layering the biscuits on the bottom creates a delicious, crunchy base that complements the gooey brownie texture perfectly. Whether you're making them eggless or not, this method works with any brownie recipe—and I've shared some of my favorite ones you can use or you can use any boxed brownie mix. The result? A fancy-looking, irresistible dessert that’s both easy to make and absolutely delicious! Perfect for when you want to impress with minimal effort.

Ingredients: 

Directions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease a baking tray or dish and line it with parchment on the base, greasing it.

  2. Open the brownies and place a layer of the halved brownies on the base of the pan. Keep them close to each other. i used about 25-28 biscuits.

  3. To the brownie batter, crush and add about 15-18 biscuits. Mix it well.

  4. Pour the brownie batter over the bourbon biscuit base.

  5. Bake as per the brownie recipe/box instructions.

  6. Cut and serve! These can last 4-5 days cling-wrapped and kept airtight in a cool place.

Notes/Tips:

  • Follow the instructions for the brownie recipe or brownie box.

  • Make sure the base has bourbon biscuits spread evenly throughout so that each brownie gets the crust.

  • While mixing the brownie batter with bourbon biscuits don’t over-mix it, just mix till combined.

  • Don’t overbake the brownies otherwise the bourbon biscuits can get chewy.
