Achaari Bagel Sandwich

Servings: 3-4 bagel sandwiches

Prep Time: 10-15 mins

Cooking Time: 10-15 mins

Total Time: 25-35 mins

Ingredients: 

  • 3-4 bagels of your choice

  • 2 golden potatoes boiled and peeled cut in slices

  • 1 large red onion cut into thin slices

  • 1 large tomato cut in thin slices

  • 6-8 oz cream cheese; softened

  • 3-4 tbsp green chili pickle (mirchi ki achaar)

  • 3-4 tbsp coriander chutney

  • 3-4 tbsp spicy maggi sauce/ketchup

  • 1/4-1/4 cup bhujiya


Directions: 

  1. Cream cheese: In a mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese, and achaar, and mix together. Keep it aside.

  2. Assembly: Slice the bagels in half and and toast both sides.

  3. Spread coriander chutney on one side of the bagel and maggi sauce/ketchup on one side of the bagel.

  4. Spread cream cheese on the bagel.

  5. Top it with the sliced potatoes, onions, tomatoes.

  6. Sprinkle bhujiya over the veggies.

  7. Sandwich the bagel close.

  8. Slice and serve! This is delicious cold and hot!

Notes/Tips:

  • You can use any bagel you like. For this sesame bagels are my favorite!

  • You can use any chili pickle you like. It can be a chili garlic one or plain chili.

  • Don’t skip the bhujiya.

  • Toasting the bagel is important!!
